she actually needs to take all pre-requisite courses and do very well if not excellent in them before she would even be considered. She would also have to take the GRE or MCAT and also do very well. Getting into a school is only half the battle. Passing classes in AA school and passing the national certifying exam is what will qualify you as an AA. No matter what your background...if you can do those things, you are deemed a qualified anesthesia provider.
