thanks for the support.
i may not know pressors, inotropes, vasodilators, normal hemodynamics, etc... as well as a seasoned ICU RN but i understand the fundamentals and why something may change, and how to fix it. even though i may only push a knob, i know why the septic patient can have a bounding pulse, a cardiac index of 6l/min and an SVR of 700. mind you im still in school.
there has to be another option for RTs/paramedics and others who work in similar environments. AA so far seems like the best choice in my situation. i wont lie, if i was in a position to choose between the 2 right now... id choose CRNA.
