If you have indeed worked for 33 years as you claim then you would not believe the AANA was started 30 years ago. I do not fear for my job and do not hate AA's,it is their masters I do not care for. You may dislike the AANA but you have had no problem reaping the benefit's of their actions. You may have started a long time ago, (doubt it) but you did not start nurse anesthesia, you benefited from the work of many. A point you seem to have forgotten. I am aware of all of the contributions of everyone in the field of anesthesia and I feel that no one group has a "claim" to the truth. If the AA's were not being used as a weapon against CRNA's I would hae no problem with the group. As there practice is so restricted I do not fear for my job. I am an independent practitioner and need none to supervise me, unlike an AA. AA's require this supervision not due to lack of skill IMHO butas a chain placed on them by the group which supports them now but let them languish for 30 years. I too do not wish to discuss this with you anymore as your world view appears to be one in which the world is hiding the truth and you alone know it. If we ever see each other in person then perhaps we could continue this amicably and professionally, as of now I am so tired of typing. Good Luck
