Thank you Dick. I thought the FW series of frames came after the 1913 era- I may look at the 20 gauge on Sunday-and will study the frame and sideplate differences before I see the gun- I think it also has a Hunter One Trigger-how reliable are they? Would this 20 gauge Smith have chambers shorter than the 2 and 3/4" size? If so, would it detract from its value to have them lengthened to accept 2 and 3/4" shells? I believe RST offers shorter length shells for 20 gauge shotguns, also Estate. So many Smiths were left full choke in each barrel, I have two choke gauges and a chamber depth gauge- for 12, 16 and 20 gauges only. If I should make an offer on this older 20, whom would you suggest in the LCSCA "web" to do the chamber and rechoke work, if required? Thanks
