About ten years ago I became intrigued by the memory of the VL&A store in Chicago that I remembered as a boy. Dad took me there. I called Abercrombie in Ohio and they gave me their historian who agreed to send me a Xerox of a few pages of their catalog from the 1920s custom shot gun pages. She is most likely deceased now but it would be worth a phone call if you are still interested. She may have been replaced by another elderly person who has the old files. Good Luck
