all you can do is make excuses for a failed long-term financial commitment that has not produced any meaningful jobs, unless you count owner/operators as jobs. Read the question again then supply an answer: If given a choice (a vote) what would you rather have, a bond isssue for street and sewer repairs or a downtown project tht has done nothing. How's that old YMCAS building coming along, that was a great investment also, wasn't it? Did you see all the money those planters, lamps and benches are bringing to the downtown area? People are getting spring fever, rushing downtown to enjoy the benches, gaze at the lights at night, the traffic jams are horrendous.
