Well I love Granite City. I see a bigger potential as well. I don't know how to get there, but I have some vision of a vibrant city and I know that pride in the community, and regional cooperation with our neighbors - and forging a common vision is the only way we'll make it. I've been preaching the same thing in that regard since the dates posted in my tagline. I see the 90% who do want to do whats right and be productive. I am not going to let the other elements of this town ruin it. I am not going to let others convince me that this is $#!+$ville. Not even GENO. There's just a common thread there. I love Granite City. AT least that's the common thread. I'm sure we could have a few differing opinions about certain issues - but this is my hometown. It keeps me humble too. I went to school with people from just about every walk of life. I learned they all put their pants on the same way. And I will never consciously try to forget that, or look down on that.
