Thank you. Your writing of the events was detailed and very interesting. I found myself here after watching Coal Miners Daughter again having not watched it in several years. Forty years ago I flew several times with a family friend in a small cessna. We went up serveral times leaving from Oakland, flying north along hwy 29, 100 miles to Lower Lake's one time small plane airport. We flew up to South Lake Tahoe once and flying back we kept to the 14,000ft altitude which for me, was frightening. Then one sunny and clear morning as we drove to the Oakland airport, as my friend went through his pilot's checklist, as we were to step into the plane, I could not shake a strong feeling of doom. In fact, it's heaviness was as a tremendous weight. I told my friend of these feelings and that I thought we should not fly that day. He took what I said seriously and we cancelled our flight. It was obvious to me by your writing that if not Patsy, certainly others for her, also had that same sense of doom, a sort of clarvoyance. These feelings perhaps come from our "guardian angels" and should always be listened to. Since that day, I've not gone flying in another small single engine plane, not for any sense of doom since, but because they are far to dangerous.
