Mr. Walker, you seem to be trying to debunk this pilot's story. Go back and re-read Larry Jordan's account of the Patsy Cline plane crash, derived from the accident report and other accounts.

He writes: "Finally, the four entertainers were able to leave Kansas City around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 1963. They made a stop in Rogers, Arkansas for refueling, and were airborne a mere 15 minutes later. Pilot Hughes later made contact with the Dyersburg, Tennessee airport and landed there at 5:05 p.m."

The gentleman who wrote in who said he saw them in Rogers is VERY LIKELY CORRECT. They stopped at Dyersburg not necessarily to refuel but because the Flight Service Station was there, the weather was bad and he wanted to further check the weather, as the sworn testimony from witnesses affirms. They were hedge hopping according to Randy. Plus they were able to get a bite to eat and use the restrooms.

Records show irrefutably they stopped at BOTH Rogers and Dyersburg. The plane was also overloaded. So why are you throwing cold water on this man's account? -- Lisa
