I too am a longtime Patsy Cline fan who has noticed a lot of misinformation reported regarding the plane crash, small matters but still obviously, or most likely, inaccurate. Many report Dyersburg as "90 miles" from Nashville, when it is roughly 160; that the plane was yellow, in other cases it is white and green; that Patsy's "watch stopped at 6:20, the time of the crash", when it would be virtually impossible to fly 80 miles and crash in 13 minutes (they took off from Dyersburg at 6:07 pm which would be roughly 80 miles from Camden, the site of the crash), and so on. The srouce I talked to, and this was a source close to the crash, but shall remain nameless out of respect, said Mr. Hughes got "vertigo" while flying and this is the explanation. No greater singer ever lived than Patsy Cline, and while I realize the small details regarding the crash really don't matter in the bigger picture, it still would be better to have more reliable information at hand.
