With every managerial change that they get wrong, they are backing the managers to buy players to suit their style and we are seeing turnover and change. This time the end result is a dire possession based football with no end product. The players looked lost and flat, again.
Why can’t we have a Luton Town identity and recruit a manager whose style is close to it? Our most successful periods have been with a press, an energy, pass and move forwards, decent crossers of the ball, decent full backs, some physical presence. two actual strikers up front, etc.
Just don’t recognise us. No identity or soul.
How are we still lost? How are we not learning? Inadequacy of the highest order.
