Wally Bunker & Poor ol elroy & KL79 too, along with the rest...thanks for your comments. This is a prime example of what the teaching profession along with the kids has to deal with and Wally Bunker, you are right-on...there are two sides two every story...it is so sad that "we the people" will never know the truth behind this little episode.
I will refresh every-ones mind with the fact that I did retire from Granite City Unit #9 School District as a Maintenance Carpenter...and this reminds me of the time I was at one of the schools doing a floor tile replacement job. This poor (young lady) teacher yelled and screamed for the kdg or the 1st grade class to sit down and be quiet...over and over and over, until finally she sat down and and her-self was quiet.
OK, I know this is not the point of the story...but as was said, two sides does make an excellent story...and we will never know the truth behind this episode, that I am certain of...but this does bring up this interesting factor...these young kids are taught at home...and they bring these teachings to school with them and guess who has to deal with them...THAT IS RIGHT, THE TEACHER.
Anyway all, stick to your guns...and let us hear from you on this matter.
Who is the bad guy here...my vote goes to the lady teacher. I really believe that she should have handled the situation better.
