Ya Opie2, because that judge has to decide if he wants to face the possibility of these lunatics marching in front of his house.
If i was a police officer in any bad area today,id be the last one to every call, especially if it seemed on the surface to be a violent situation. Why risk your life when you are going to be second guessed by everyone with an anti cop agenda if something goes down?
If this judge rules in favor of this officer, hes bot just ruling on a case, hes subjecting himself, his family and his neighborhood to mob tactics. I can easily see how that could persuade how some judges might rule which of course is the whole point.
I dont know a whole lot about this case but if hes found not guilty their will be people in the street protesting and who knows what all that will not know anything at all about it. If hes found guilty, the media will crucify every cop in the country for a week and as a result more cops will be gunned down. Obamas War on The Police is still alive and well.
