Runner, I agree with a lot of what you said, I do, however, disagree with you asking Mike to be the one to tell a kid they have no future. This is exactly what the district does. They use the kids as pawns to get what they want. "We need more money, if we don't get it the kids will suffer. You don't want to be the reason the kids suffer do you?". People are tired of the education quality decreasing, school numbers decreasing, class sizes increasing, and money to teachers/admin increasing. Then when they run out of money for their increases, don't worry, we'll just guilt the public into raising taxes again so we get ours. Don't worry about bettering the school or it's education process. We'll take care of that with the excess money after we get our raises. People want accountability for where the money is going. Guarantee under penalty of law that the money will be used to help the kids and not just line the pockets of those in charge. If those in charge could be trusted, believed, held accountable etc. more people would be willing to vote yes. Until then, everything will be questioned and the money won't come easily. People have been burned too many times to have faith in anyone in charge any more.
