" I would imagine he is addressing some of the information about the personal attacks against him and his teachers." There is no "attack" but there are a LOT of questions. I take issue with the top administrators far more than I do any teachers. I know a family that the bread winner worked 25 years at his place of employment and he had a total of 3 sick/personal days for the entire year. After 25 years of service he became very sick and missed around 3 months of work. Not only did his pay check stop, but when he finally returned to work, he had to repay all the insurance premiums that had not been withheld from his paycheck, that he was to sick to earn. His insurance premiums were right at $900.00 per month. So, the repayment was taken straight off the top of the first few paychecks earned. I believe stories just like this one are far more common than you realize. Not everyone has such a sweet arrangement from their employer. I don't think it is unreasonable to believe that a salaried employee's salary is not docked for a day off the same as an hourly paid employee. I worked on salary for many years and my pay was the same if I worked 40 hours or 20 although I was expected to work a full 40. I imagine if I would have abused the salary pay, they would have either terminated me or changed my pay over to hourly. This eliminated the need for sick days.
