OK think about this. When they rolled back the rock on the first Easter morning, they were in a pretty jazzed up mood. They said, lets go drink some wine and eat the biggest animal meat they had. I believe that was lamb..or goat. Not pigs for sure..they were arabs and jews. Very doubtful someone said hey let's try this chunk off of a pig butt! But you never know. I don't know if they had sweet potatoe pie either. They did have some damned good black olives though, I'm thinking. So, lamb, wine, some flat bread, and olives. Maybe some figs and dates. At what point did rabbits and plastic grass get hooked into that anniversary?
