I'm in the same predicament. Although I am getting closer and closer to cutting meat out of my diet. At over $4 a pound for ground beef, it will be much easier.
I believe we're meant to eat meat, but why do we have to be so inhumane in the way we treat animals? I was talking to a lady at a local restaurant recently and she was a vegan. I asked her why and she said it was because she had lived all over the world and if you wanted meat in some of those places, you had to butcher it yourself. No thanks. I'd be vegan, too. I refuse to watch those videos you're talking about on FB. I would NEVER sleep if I did!
