I agree. I just wanted to also mention that I was at a theater down in southern Mo. where after they cleaned out the popcorn in to a clean bin they went amount to the three theaters and waved their lights in the isle and called last call for popcorn. At which time they would fill popcorn containers. I thought this was a nice touch that left everybody feeling welcomed and wanted at the theater. When I asked about it they told me they would rather go ahead and refill everybody's popcorn than throw it away and it really only took a short time to do it. But it didn't take long before they saw an increase in patrons. Just because instead of wasting popcorn they just refiled everybody at the last show of the day. I would also like to throw out there, that they had mini concerts and kids carnivals at openings. For harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince they brought in Ministry of magic to perform. They were sold out and people who couldn't get tickets to the movie were still buying popcorn and drinks. The children's carnivals are just little games and face painting. But I really brings in the families.
