I had the same thing happen when we went, as far as everything being shut down at what I thought was an extremely early time.
I would send the email anyway, because chances are good that the actual Theater Manager doesn't work nights and doesn't have a clue how the theater is being ran after they are gone for the day. This attitude needs to be nipped in the bud before it turns people away. Sure it's comfy and clean, but if their employee attitude sucks and you can't get the refills they advertise, then the whole experience is devalued and becomes a negative experience.
