I agree with gcbilliard. With the DNA testing and forensics available to law enforcement agencies and the courts, the day is rapidly approaching where there will be no doubt when a criminal suspect is tried.
I for one firmly believe in an eye for an eye. Rape someone, whack the pee pee off of of them.
Steal something, cut the fingers or the hand off.
A conviction/punishment of raping or molesting a child should be death.
Until criminals learn it doesn't pay to commit the crimes, our prisons will continue to be overloaded and overcrowded.
The Day is Coming...Hopefully....that trillions of tax dollars are not spent on career criminals to have a roof over their head, 3 squares a day, medical/dental/vision coverage and a college degree all on the backs of taxpayers. Especially when so many of us law abiding, tax paying citizens, struggle to live honestly from day to day!
I for one thinks it is outrageous that the State of Illinois is pursuing this when the State can't evewn pay their bills!
