Alright DD, and all of the other Crnas who think you are better than all, I'm an AA, and i welcome any opportunity to work with you so maybe you can get off your high horse and see that i can do everything you do, if not better. I work with CRNA's who have been out for years and frankly they are only good and recording vitals and asking the doc what to give,(as Nurses are trained to do) FACT is, there are CRna's, AA, and MDA's that are good and bad but having a team approach IS better than one person alone. A surgeon wouldn't know the first thing about dealing with an anethetic emergency so independent CRNA practices are just plain dangerous, on that same note, MDA's shouldn't work indepentently either since they tote the team approach so much but let's face the facts, they went to grad school for at least 8 years over our (AA and crna) 2.5 years so if you want the world to recognize you as being an equal to a doctor, shut the hell up and go to med school. As per my offer in the start, come to any atlanta metro hospital and let an AA school school on our abilities.
