not sure if this will get bumped to the top for views, but i'll try it here first. i stripped the old nasty finish off last week, and i have been in the process of removing the oil from the head/grip of the stock using acetone soaking and hairdryer to draw the oil out. i began on saturday and have about 8 cycles in now. generally once in the morning and once in the evening. the oil shows no signs of stopping, only slightly less oil rises now in comparison to the initial heat application. at what point do i give up on the oil removal and just let the stock dry to begin the pro-custom finish?
