Hi Shaun, have you checked the throttle pedal? from memory they are a cable operated poteniometer and i have had them come loose on the throttle pedal before giving the symptoms you have. have you tried checking the actual values with a scanner to confirm operation.

Also the timing on these needs to be spot on
