This vehicle has its original engine.
The customer complained the power had dropped off some time ago, we had a look but the customer needed it, back as they do.
It is poor by any standards, when you change into top the speed drops of as the boost pressure dies away.
Mark, TDi timing checker is good,it gives the injection advance as reported by the needle lift sensor. My experience shows that in good condition the timing varies by les than 25% of the whole advance/retard range, this one is varying over the whole range. I am just not sure if this is the cause of the problem or just a statement that the pump is a bit tired.
