I’m confused. Are you calling the piece of meat (raw, unprepared) carne asada?
Or are you calling the meat in the specific manner of preparation and spices used - carne asada.  Previous Message But granted, in the mid-90s I was still a white trash hick in central Illinois…but by about 2001 I was ordering carne asada tacos at 2am at Arturo’s on Armitage and Western after a night out on my way home.
