His scoring record is abysmal but he has a reputation as an excellent target man who can hold the ball up and bring others into play.

I think we need to look at the bigger picture. If his presence allows the likes of Hannant, Stevens & Hawkes to play a lot more in the final 3rd it could lead to us having a much greater goal threat.

On paper it doesn’t look too exciting, however, I think we should just give it a few games before making any hasty decisions!
