Drew, As supplied by Numrich the firing pins OAL was .936". I shortened them to .920". The pictures I posted were after shortening. They still protrude a country mile. I suppose I can shorten them a bit more, don't want to overdue it and get misfires. You answered my question. They shouldn't hang up on the extractors when the gun is empty. The lead ins are large enough on the bottom of the extractors such that the gun will close with no problems, but will hang up when opening. I was hesitant to start filing on the extractors because those are still original and working, whereas the firing pins are readily replaced. I'll take another look but will be cautious with material removal. It's tough to put back on when you file too much off...
