Annie Oakley, "Little Miss Sure Shot" attended the Grand American in the 1920s. Two years before her death, with failing eyesight- she broke 96 out of 100. Sometimes used a Parker single barrel alternating with a Specialty Grade L.C. Smith. Received her nickname while traveling with William Cody's Buffalo Bill show-from Sitting Bull, the Hunkpapa Sioux leader, whose braves are noted for their marksmanship at the Little Big Horn in the Dakota Territory.
