I don't have facts and figures to back my shooting up, just personal experience. I fired hundreds of the early nasty steel loads through an Italian made 10 gauge side by side without any problems. Built like yours, the barrels were more like pipes than tubes. And I never had the choke opened up even, didn't have the money back then. I've seen guns where steel had damaged them, made grooves in the barrels and bulged behind the choke. But I've never heard of anybody blowing up a gun shooting steel shot out of it either.
