Gentlemen, The picture brought back a painfull memory I had a over/under Beretta and I was reloading my own shells at the time. I will just give you a "thumb-nail" sketch of what happened . There were two of us bird hunting, I had a "squib" and the wad got stuck halfway down the barrel. I never ever thought that there was any danger and the barrel was clear!!!!!!!I just dropped in another shell.A partridge flushed and I pulled the trigger and the bottom barrel exploded,it blew the forestock off and burst the barrel. The sound was deafening. I am lucky in the sense that I have never gripped the stock, but it always sat flat in the palm of my hand. I was not hurt at all???????????? I went into a state of shock realizing that I could have been very seriously injured. Going back to the picture I think that something akin to my experience has/had happened here. I think a little more background is in order. This happened when I was 28 I am now 61. I am the "safest" gun handler in Southern Ontario or anywhere else on this planet. Regards
