Drew, Thanks for the response. Regarding #1, the case is an A&F hard leather case original to the gun, but with a "felt" interior. It doesn't seem to have done any damage so far, but I still think I'll keep it out of the case from now on. Regarding #2, I like your thinking. I always use the caps and always open the gun to cock it, even if just fiddlin' around with it. Looks like I'll leave it assembled from now on, with the caps in it and in a "fired" state. I may not be OCD yet, but the thought crossed my mind to see if I can't figure out a way to turn my gun cabinet upside down. Thanks again. Chick
