First off, let me say again how great this forum is. I have spent literally days trying to read and follow all the threads and have learned more than I ever thought possible. Some point back I caught a thread dealing with how best to store an old "Elsie". Mine has been broken down and stored in its original case for years (read decades maybe). It was properly cocked, so it goes together easily. But, now it seems that there is some question about keeping "tension" on some springs while in a broken down state. If I can find a good place to keep it assembled, would that be better? Any help, again, would be greatly appreciated.
