I once went on a sleep walking excursion. I’d been playing cricket all afternoon on a hot sunny Sunday a good few miles away from where I lived. After the match we had a couple of beers with the oppo before making our way home. By the time we got home there was only about 20 minutes or so before closing time so we all necked a couple more before deciding to make a visit to a late night drinking den where you can drink if you order something to eat (one garlic bread and 4 bottles of lager). My mate was banging on about his innings when I must have dropped off. I made my way to the khazi and having convinced myself that I was in my bathroom at home, thought that it was time for bed, so took my shirt, jeans, shoes and socks off and left them on the floor before heading off to bed. Sadly for me, the bedroom was actually the restaurant full of late night drinkers who were amused by the sight of me wandering in, scratching my knackers dressed in a pair of blue and white striped boxers. A tap on the shoulder from the owner of said gaff brought me round along with the laughter of team-mates leaving me semi naked and in an utterly confused state..
