The 2024 cost for a Arleigh Burke is 2.2 Billion $, for a Constellation it is 1.8 Billion - and the costs for the latter would be likely be lower, if produced in numbers (the first ships are usually more expensive and get even more expensive, if no sister ships are produced - see the Zumwalt class).

The Arleigh Burkes are an outdated design from the 1980s, which e.g. has not enough power generating capacity for future updates (and the FLIGHT III already got more powerful generators).
