Sone people just like to be negative about everything. That pessimism is often not backed with very much study. It's just "how they feel." Sorry they have no optimism. How gloomy and dark is their world.

To built such small unmanned ships rapidly could be realistic - but if the description in the article is correct, they would be easy to destroy, especially if paired only with LCS. An Mk 70 launcher is certainly an option for attacking other ships (although the US still has no proper anti-ship missiles for VLS-type launchers, only SM-6 and Tomahawk). There is still some way to go to make that a viable concept. Hopefully, the development of the payloads of this vessels will be more successful than the development of the LCS modules.
