Worker, that was a very enlightning article, most dont know anything about the contents, all should read it at length. on a personal note, three grandkids in the same family here in GC were held back a grade, and that was at Neidringhaus school. How can you fail a grade that low? And again, im not slaming the teachers, i know they have a difficult job as i walked amoung them for a few years. These three kids were held back because they had trouble with math, reading skills, those two I know. The parents had to pony up money and time to send them to a special school called Silvan in Eville i think to bring them up to par. They went several evenings a week, and still went to school during the day. Again, i dont have the answer, but im very alarmed. These children are out future. I might add, two of the kids did graduate, one girl graduated early and decided to be a nurse. When she got to college, she had to take prelimanary classes (the three Rs) all over again at SWIC to bring her up to par. Folks, i dont get it. I need help here....
