I even found a Pro-Gun site that even gave some pro-gun statistics on guns and reduction of crime. It shows an ownership rate of 12 guns per 10, which translates to the 120 per 100 per capita. You would think the graph I was going to reveal would make the pro-gun case. That's why I myself am not against responsible gun-ownership. Sometimes we can't wait for the police to get there. While it seems that they make their case by 'more guns less crime' --- it also tells the story of how crime rose and that crime was also lower when there were fewer guns. While this pro gun link tries to make their case, the USA still ranks high in gun violence and guns still too easily get in the hands of wrong people and an alarming amount of people use weapons of war to kill large amounts of people in a short amount of time. In the places where gun violence is almost unheard of.....access to guns is tightly controlled. More guns brought a rise to gun violence. The pro-gun source is going to argue that more guns reduce gun violence. Here's your pro-gun source The gun violence rate is still in the top 10, accompanied by no other country in the industrialized world. Secondly, this AMMO LAND graph only addresses when the gun is pointed outward. There is no such discussion about when the gun is pointed inward. In 2017, if there were over 12,000 guns pointed outward, there were over 24,000 pointed inward.. This graph shows a more flatline than AMMO Land's graph when it comes to number of gun related deaths. Suicides vs. Homicides Ammoland cannot prove it conclusively and Vox proves otherwise... More guns are not going to save lives. And matter of fact, it will cause more to turn the gun inward --- because when turned inward, there's not another person conceal carrying to deescalate that situation.
