That's the thing Bob...we try to keep the nukes out of the hands of 'crazy people'. The community of nations tries to ensure that these weapons that can blow nations off the map and end the world as we know it do not get into the wrong hands. And there's your proof that tighter gun laws don't work. How long has the UN tried to keep nukes out of the hands of dictator countries? NK and I ran still had nukes after sanctions were put on. NK was still testing until Trump threatened to make them a parking lot. What keeps us safe is our enemies knowing we can intercept their nukes and send some right back to them. You can't safely negotiate with crazies. Here endeth the lesson! The good dad may shoot straight as an arrow in good times and in bad and never waver from his steadiness. However, it doesn't mean that little junior may not fly off the handle or even when junior's baby mama brings over little third for a weekend visit..that he might not somehow see grandpa's stash. If that happens, greandpa is not a responsible owner and should be punished. However, just because one grandpa does stupid things, you don't take away the rights of other grandpas. Oh --- okay, the ability for civilians to run around with weapons of wa When the constitution was written, a musket was a weapon of war. Now I don't say that everyone needs an AR15 in their home but if they use it safely for sport, it's still their right.
