I just erased a long missive explaining myself or going point by point. I don't need to articulate why I believe I am not playing the race card. The better question is why would you not care and why can he in your book do no wrong? Why is it that he is articulating what 'everyone else' is thinking? Are you sure about that?

To me it is not a liberal issue or conservative issue - it is a moral issue.

He is the president of a nation of 323.1 million people.

He should represent the interests of all people and embody the person we would like to be and the ideals we have as a nation.

He makes these comments, when many of the people he 'leads' are his citizens who are here legally, who are working productively and contributing to the economy.

If Donald Trump's words and actions can still just roll off you - and he can continue forward with no accountability - then that's on you...

As for me, I don't have a liberal objection - I have a moral objection.....

It is not a matter of how I feel....and not a matter of what I think... It goes to a higher power in this instance.

I'll have to leave it at that...

Meeting in the middle with Republicans is easy.

Respecting the conservative viewpoint is not hard to do.....

Respecting one's love of country though they see it differently is the things a mature democracy is made out of.

But respecting Donald J Trump, what he is about ,and what he stands for .... it so far goes against my conscience.... and that goes deeper than my feelings and thoughts...
