November 2016 was one of the hardest months of any good red-blooded American's life.
A double whammy of the Cubs winning the world series --- and more and more, by some technicality, the Trump Circus car being given the green light to move into the White House.
What a circus it continues to be....
and the Cardinals are still losing their asses.
I'm on my way shortly to go up and see them tonight in Milwacky... We'll see what $65 in tickets and at least that in other expenses will net us tonight.
Last time I went to Miller Park, the Cardinals were riding high, Carpenter pitched a Gem (or was it Waino...can't remember), and all was well in Cardinal Nation. There was the sense that these whipping boys of the NL Central gave the Cards more leverage over the Cubs or any other team who was threatening at the time.
Today - going up there will be very different... Hope those cheeseheads don't give us too much trouble wearing red.
Actually, it's fun to wear Cardinal Red anywhere -- people are generally good even those Cub fans.
It's those fans of the former Browns you have to watch.......fans of Orange uniforms and Orange hair.
