I don't know if they called the entire complex Gaslight Walk or not. I always thought Gaslight Walk were the apartments closer to the car lot, right where you turn off of Pontoon Rd to get into.

I loved the old Pizza Pit. Back then, Leroy's Market was in its prime, every check out lane usually lined 4 and 5 people deep. I remember actually having to wait for a parking spot. Back then the women never had to carry groceries out and load them into the car, the store manager made sure of that. I miss those days!

Halloween back then at my townhouse was a community event. Each townhouse had an inner circle and many would often decorate the entire center circle and people would actually drive out of their own neighborhood to bring their children to trick or treat this area. HA HA can you imagine trying to do that now!

Back then, the only late night mini mart store was Lee's Short Stop on Pontoon rd and they had quite a business. That store had cram packed everything under the sun into that building. No matter how unusual of a request you may walk in with, chances were they could dig it up...anything from eggs and bread to a Toni Perm and Aqua Net. I'll let some of the young ones try to figure that one out.
