When Ken Perkins was Superintendent and there were only about 12 people from the community attending a meeting with an open discussion the meetings lasted sometimes for hours. It was hard to make any progress because there were so many opinions. With this being a board meeting its about the district and their business that they have to address and resolve. Maybe someone should request an "open discussion meeting" about the changes our district is facing. Where anyone can ask a question to the district. They have a meeting to get to know the candidates that are running for the school board and anyone can ask a candidate a question. Something like that forum may work for the open discussion meeting.
