"I've never understood how you can have a meaningful dialog if all questions must be submitted in advance." I have to agree with you on this point. I fully understand having to gain or keep control of these meetings, especially with a large turn out and emotions running high. It seems as if they could just as easily pre-approve a few people who submitted a request in advance, to stand up and ask a question. I don't see that happening any time soon. The last position they want to find themselves in is having to say..."we didn't see that coming"...LOL, Nah, questions submitted in advance, so answers can be well thought out along with every conceivable argument to back up their decision before taking it public. Simple, cut and dry with no room for discussion. "Going forward" to the next question.
