My only problem with them moving into that building is the total waste of an excellent retail site. They could be anywhere else on Madison Ave, why couldn't they have bought the big brick building that was a tanning salon (and whatever else it was)? That building is better suited to office space. (And it was cheaper, at least it was when we inquired.) I don't think the people going in and out of Catholic Charities are going to look any different than customers going in and out of a retail establishment. And the Lombardi building was far from deteriorating or shabby looking.
