catching12, well said! There have been cases where they have found that a person they have executed was indeed innocent, usually years after the execution. I cant remember specifics nor do I have the the time to research this morning but it has/does happen. You cant reverse an execution nor do anything for the relatives of a wrongly accused/executed person. I do believe if someone has admitted to a crime that execution is the ultimate punishment and they wish to die then so be it.
