Peaceful protests are acceptable and part of our rights as Americans, if they cross the line into violence and destruction of property, I don't think any Democrats, other than "extremists" (Dems or Republicans) would encourage that.

The reason some on the Right are salivating and feigning shock over Jeffries remark is because they know Trump has been called out many times for his violent rhetoric. Look it up, I'm not going to take the time to name them all, but you'll find plenty of direct quotes from him.
