Soccer, and MG, we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. No way anyone will EVER convince me that people working at home are more productive than they would be in the workplace.

More distractions at home, more lack of getting up, getting dressed and being professional. My guess is if you work from home and your spouse doesn't get that luxury, you're the provider of rides to school, diaper changes and feeding. All of these take away from time on task.

I guess the tree hugger out there could say it saves gas and pollutants. Of course, it doesn't help the small businesspeople out there who have fewer lunch customers.

I think buying someone out just because they don't want to go to work is pathetic and I hope congress wouldn't provide those funds. If they want to buy out people in their close to retirement days, that's one thing. It happens in the corporate world every day. Don't buy out people who choose to stay home to avoid going to work.

No, the younger generation already wants four-day work weeks, two hundred personal time days a year and the best, emotional support days which make me want to puke.
