You have no idea what you're talking about. The ORs are used as a training ground every day. How do you think doctors are trained? They're not doing out in the streets.
You say that RNs have years of experience before getting into anesthesia. Your only looking at the best case to support your weak claims. You could easily find an AA that has worked as a respiratory therapist for years. Instead you look at the absolute minimum AA requirements and compare it to an RN with many years of experience. Not a very fair comparison. In reality, the minimum requirements for a CRNA is to have 1 year of critical care experience. But is this really preparing them for anything? They follow doctors orders and can't even deliver drugs without direct consent from a doctor. It's definitely experience and any experience is good. However, you act like CRNAs should be equal to doctors after this minimal time in the care units.
Bottom line... why do you have to continually criticize someone when that are obviously competent enough to deliver safe anesthesia care? When you see an unacceptable number of medical errors coming from AAs than you may have a case. Until then, keep your hostility to yourself.
