i agree with you neuroqueen, although some of ur info on PAs is a bit off. PA programs at first were more stringent with hands on experience. many PA applicants were RNs, EMTPs, military medics, and RTs. today those people are the exception.
i do think AA schools should require some form of healthcare experience, but they shouldnt over do it either. being an anesthesia technician sounds like a good starting point. its OJT and one would get to work personally with anesthetists.
