As a practicing AA who had no "healthcare" experience, I have to take offense with some of your comments. Although I had not worked in a healthcare setting I had spent hundreds of hours in the hospital with my father as he slowly died. This might not have been "real" experience but it did make me empathize with my patients. I think there are certain personalities who are able to excel in this field and do well because of inherent qualities. These things can't be taught. I have met people with years of clinical experience who I would not let near me as a patient because of their attitudes. Reading your email I wonder if you possess the right qualities to be an AA.
